MODERN / REFORM / INTERFAITH / LGBTQIA+
Personal and less formal, you will find these work well for any Reform, Interfaith, or LGBTQIA+ ceremony. These texts can be used as-is, or they be customized however you’d like at no additional charge, including the Hebrew translation.
SECULAR / HUMANISTIC
These texts are for those wanting a Humanistic/Secular ketubah. We provide these with permission from the Society for Humanistic Judaism.
ORTHODOX / CONSERVATIVE
These are the ancient texts used for over a thousand years and are written in Aramaic. You would not choose these for your ketubah unless specified by your rabbi. For both texts, we use those published by the RCA (Rabbinical Council of America.) The Conservative text is almost identical to the Orthodxx, but includes the Lieberman clause, which provides provisions for spousal support by the husband in the case of death or divorce.
EGALITARIAN
Similar to the Orthodox or Conservative texts, this text would normally only be used by those who consider themselves to be Traditional Egalitarian. This text was created by Rabbi Gordon Tucker
CANADIAN REFORM
The Canadian Reform text is a standardized text by the Reform Rabbis of Canada and is often requested by Reform Rabbis in the Toronto area.
